It includes evaluations of their reading, spelling, writing, and math skills, as well as their overall cognitive abilities. We aim to identify their strengths and areas where they need support. You'll receive a comprehensive report with the results, a diagnosis (if applicable), and recommendations for how to help your child at school, at home, and in their future workplace.
Autism
This assessment helps to understand your child's unique strengths and challenges. The process includes various assessments and observations to get a complete picture of your child's development. After the assessment, you'll receive a detailed report with the results, including a diagnosis (if applicable), and personalised recommendations for supporting your child at home, in school, and in other settings.
Intellectual Disability
This assessment helps to understand if your child has an intellectual disability. It includes tests of their cognitive abilities and everyday skills like communication, social interactions, and daily living activities. The results will be detailed in a comprehensive report, along with a diagnosis (if relevant) and advice on supporting your child at school, home, and in other settings.
Language Assessment
This assessment is designed to evaluate your child's language development, identifying both strengths and areas of need. The process involves a range of tools, including standardized tests, observations, and parent/teacher input, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your child's communication abilities. After the assessment, you will receive a detailed report outlining the results, insights into your child's language skills, and personalized strategies to support their language development at home, in school, and during social interactions.
Giftedness/High Ability
If you believe your child may be gifted, this assessment can help identify their advanced skills in areas like reading, spelling, writing, and math. You'll get a detailed report highlighting their strengths and providing recommendations for how to nurture their abilities both at school and at home.
Adaptive Behaviour/Functional Assessment (for NDIS)
This assessment looks at your child’s everyday skills, communication, and social abilities, which can be important for NDIS applications. It helps determine the level of support your child may need.
Literacy Assessment
This assessment focuses on understanding your child's reading, writing, and overall literacy skills, highlighting their strengths and areas that may require support. Using a combination of standardized tests, observations, and input from parents and teachers, we gain a complete picture of your child's literacy development. Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed report with the results, actionable insights, and personalized recommendations to support your child’s literacy growth at home, in school, and in everyday life.
School Readiness
This assessment evaluates whether your child is ready to start school by looking at their cognitive and educational skills, such as oral language, basic literacy, and math. You'll receive a report with the results and suggestions for how to prepare your child for their educational journey.
Additional Screening
Sometimes, we might need to add extra evaluations to the above assessments. These could include screeners for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, or general developmental delays to ensure we have a complete understanding of your child’s needs.
